Maybe that'll be the next craze.

Poop

Poop spelled backwards is still poop. It's great!

The only thing worse than a stupid name is a stupid spelling of a regular name. Like Mackenzi or Maidyson. I HATE THAT!!!! For the love of god people just because you change a letter or 2 does not make it a good name.

I also hate location names. Austin, Savannah, Paris, Dallas. Why not Cincinnati or Talahassee?

All I can say for sure is many years ago my parents gave me a name with an unusual spelling and I have spent the last nearly 30 years with no bicycle liscense plate or pen with my name on it. And everytime I go somewhere for work or to the doctor I have to correct the pronunciation.

Do your kid a favor and stop trying to be the "most original".

The worst I heard was Shithead. I read on here some woman was in the papers for naming her kid that. I am not sure if it was for real. I really really hope not.
With the exception of the above I cannot think of a baby name I hate. I like odd and common names. Just because a name is not my choice I do not feel it is right to disrespect it. I guess I should extend that thought to the name Shithead but without any details it seems more like an act of cruelness then a diffrent baby name.

There are many that I dislike, but the worst is where people take a nice, normal name and distort it by adding j's, i's, y's and c's where they should not be, they think it looks "different" but what is the point in distorting something so badly when it sounds exactly the same as when it is spelt normally?? For example, Instead of Louise they spell it Luhwheeize

Apparently the hottest new Christian name is "Nevaeh" -- "heaven" spelled backwards. It traces it genealogy to a single cultural big bang: In 2000, Sonny Sandoval, the singer for the Christian-rock unit P.O.D., appeared on MTV and introduced his baby daughter Nevaeh. He explained the provenance -- "Heaven spelled backwards" -- and apparently the country was totally smitten

I hate my name, Sarah. SO overused.

Other than that....anything that sounds like a word someone picked randomly from the dictionary (ex: Chastity, Serenity, Apple, Diva, Taffy, Bunny, etc.) is just plain tacky.

And someone wanted to name their kid 'Junebug'. It was for the middle name, of course, but that's just cruel....

Worst name ever - somebody on TV named his son Pilot Inspektor. I just don't get it. You name kids like this, and you kind of limit their choices of profession as they grow up. For example, who will hire an attorney named "Shenehneh"? That sounds like someone you order fries from.

I also hate it when people add apostrophes like, Ja'mal. I don't get it. What does it mean, what is it supposed to do?

I HATE the name Bertha! First of all, it sounds like somenone is blowing chunks...secondly, the baby would have to be born 70 years old for it to fit.

Sorry if I offended any Berthas out there, but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

I HATE the name Rusty... It makes me think of an old Model T or something...
I also hate the name Pam.

As far as trying to be original is considered, however... I can't say much on that. I named my son Aiden Orion (as in Orion's belt).
