yes, flyers, rangers, red wings, bruins have a very strong fan base all over the country, even here in san jose. the penguins have no fans anywhere, not even in pittsburgh, which is why pittsburgh doesn't want them and neither does any other city.

Los Angeles and Orange Counties are full of transplant from points North and East. If you go to any game in LA or Anaheim featuring a team from a large city East of the Mississippi, you will see a lot of their fans in attendance. Philly, Detroit, New York, Boston, etc. Especially if the home team is bad--and the Kings are really, really bad, I don't even know if they could take the Long Beach Ice Dogs right now. So, to answer your question, yes and no. In the grand scheme of things, the Flyers have a small amount of fans in LA, it's just that all 5-10,000 of them showed up to see them play at Staples since Kings fans aren't selling the place out these days.

I can remember the first game the Flyers played in Washington against the Capitals (remember the white pants Cap fans?). There were more people from Philly at the game than those who supported the Capitals.

What is great is you always see like two Kings fans in other cities. When someone-anyone scores you see two people way up in the stands jump up. Nobody leaves LA so we don't have many fans anywhere. Could be worse-could be Ducks fans. They can't sell out anything-not even playoff games.

They have fans everywhere! The St. Times Forum is always full of them when the Flyers play the Lightning. Big rivalry there, too.

Well, the Kings are starting to look like they wanna play like the Flyers. So i imagine so. Hopefully these teams can get it turned around; it is fun to watch their home playoff games, the crowd goes NUTS. Especially in Philly.
