To clarify: are you saying that your husband's best man drops by to visit and won't leave? Where is your husband? If you are still married, have your husband call his friend and say that although you both value his friendship, life is too hectic for his frequent visits and to please call ahead. I have to say it sounds like this guy is attempting to make a play for you if he's over there while your husband isn't.
As I'm typing this, I think I came up with a better way to get rid of him -- ask him that as long as he's there, to do some much needed chores like wash the pots and pans, take out the garbage, walk the dog, fix that squeaky door, give little Joey Jr. a bath, change the oil in my car, and help little Susie with her homework! And say "it's great that you can stop by and help do all the things Joe (your husband) doesn't have time for. Your "friend", unless he truly is head-over-heels for you, will be out the door in no time!

I feel for you! I put my foot down way back when we were living in sin about that kind of sh!t. My hubby just knows by the look on my face/ body language that it's time to push Best Man / cousin or whoever TF it is out the door! Sounds like you need to give you hubby a lesson in perception! Shut him off till he figures it out. :b j/k

Tell him that you have to get up early tomorrow with the kids and hate to call it a night....blah, blah, blah. If he doesn't take the hint- then you would have to just tell him to go......

Have you spoken to your husband about it....you probably have. Ummm.....that's a tough one, cuz you don't wanna hafta argue with your husband about it. Have you ever tried to just say, "hey, it's getting late and we need some time to ourselves tonight....do you mind?" Then apologize for the abruptness and say, "thanks for understanding." Good Luck.
