If you note the melting ice caps up North in Alaska, Canada, Greenland, and below in the South Arctic region, and sea levels raising up, it's because the Earth is getting hotter and expanding...much like a heated balloon. The Earth doesn't stop from growing.

The term Global Warming is a made up name made by scientists. They use this to describe atmospheric conditions and changes within the Earth's surface...They conclude this as the norm in why the world is getting hotter.

Because of over population, humans bring more pollutants into the atmosphere, which creates air quality disturbance. Air pollutants create polluted water (acid rain), litter, and gas plants deplete the ozone layer making the world hotter . Because some people blame it on the greenhouse (Global Warming) effect, what they fail to recognize is there are other FACTORS that happen in nature that are hard to understand...New Volcanic activity, tsunamis, earthquakes, tilting of the Earth's axis, and other strange developments happening on the Earth's surface.

Al Gore on the other hand (he believes he was the first man to create the Internet) is creating worldwide panic for a reason. He wants people to contribute in preventing an unpolluted environment and saving natural resources in making a peaceful, happy, livable world. Some people actually believe Al Gore is making a contribution in saving the world and you know, he is...a little at a time.

But it is a bit eerie when it's all based on Al Gore's "you have to do this because this is what the future will be". We cannot predict the future because the world for all you know can end tomorrow, and Al's effort to save it is futile. So I understand why you believe Al Gore should be in the nuthouse, but you cannot judge.

Because if we contribute to do nothing, then we are the source to the world's ills.

Can you site the source in which you discovered that Gore "created" the global warming "hoax"? I thought it was a scientific theory that a lot of serious people believe, though some disagree in the scientific community disagree with it. That's what real scientists do: they amicably disagree as they seek after truth.

You, on the other hand, with no evidence or even argument, have assumed without proof that what Gore believes is a "hoax." All that really means is that he has an opinion different from yours. Since he dares to do so, you believe he should be put in jail or an insane asylum. I think you have told us a little bit more about yourself than we need to know. Thank God for the Constitution.

OK, it's not a hoax. Global warming is a serious issue. The ice caps are melting. Pollution is REALLY BAD. BUT...He shouldn't be saying too much about preserving energy and not polluting when HE has a big house with a lot of lights wasting a LOT of energy. That's just messed up.

I'm not a fan of Al Gore. However, some of the evidence he presents in the movie is very compelling.

You should independently validate the key claims before arriving at this conclusion. I found the ice core data, going back 650,000 years to be the most compelling.

Check his facts, then decide.

Due to the First Amendment, we can't put him in jail. He knows enough to come in out of the rain, so we can't put him in the nuthouse.
There was a warming period during the Middle Ages when it got warmer than it is now; followed by a small ice age when glaciers encroached on farmland. The glaciers retreated later. I guess those lords and serfs were doing more to the environment than we have been able to discover.....

Put him in an outdoor cell in International Falls, MN during the Winter. Then ask him if global warming is happening. This guy's a joke!

What are your scientific qualifications to say global warming is a hoax? What is your expertise in the field? Anyone can shoot anything out their azz.

He should be sent to upstate New York to shovel the 110 inches of global warming that fell this week.

Nuthouse.
Actually...I don't think he's smart enough to even know it is a hoax and he's being used.

Global warming is not a hoax. Why would you say that? Reading a little to much in the book State of Fear are we? Look at the facts bud.
