Its not really important to exercise although it helps out ALOT! With my pregnancy I didnt exercise at all (except for walking around wal-mart all the time) and I gained alot more weight than I should. It wont affect anything other than weight gain if you dont exercise. Near the end of pregnancy they say to walk though and it can help you go into labor. There are alot of videos and classes though that are geared toward pregnant women so they arent as stressful as normal workouts! My advice though would be to atleast exercise like maybe go walking just to keep you from gaining alot of weight! Also a proper diet would be good for that too!

You can always do exercises in your own home. You can sit in a chair and exercise your legs and arms and do bending that won't hurt you or the baby. Do short squats while you are doing your hair or the dishes or the laundry. Do twists and turns while watching t.v.. If that makes you sick consult your doctor to see if there is something that you can do to relieve your sickness. By the way, CONGRATULATIONS!

Eh not really. I barely did exercise when I was pregnant. But walking is exercise I guess. Goto the mall and walk around one day a week. I wasn't active during my pregnancy, but I did gain almost 60lbs.. maybe that's why, lol.

I know exactly how you feel. I just started a few weeks ago because I have been sooo exhausted and sick. I think that as long as you start out slow it would be fine. Ive just been doing 15 minutes on my ellipical machine.

You'll just gain more weight, but it won't hurt you or the baby to be lazy. I was lazy with both of my pregnancies and gained 80 lbs both times. I lost it after they were born. And, they were both born healthy. 7lbs and 8lbs

As long as you're sick, rest and relax. When you feel better, join a prenatal yoga class.
