I'm in 8th grade, and i'm one of the few in my class who listens to stuff like Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, ACDC..

I hate to tell you this but Rap took over a long time ago. Rock music is not nearly as popular as it was in the 70's. I think that's a shame and music has really regressed.

Sadly, I think Rap is taking over, but NOTHING will ever beat Led Zeppelin. Though Jet, (from Australia) has some good "new" Classic rock/hard rock style

No rock is not dead. But it has been split into so many different categories that is hard to find a good band through all the crap.MTV isn't helping either. I just wish bands would stop breaking up and making new bands that suck. Stay together and when you sober up still make kick a*s music!

I'm 17 and all I listen to is rock. Where I live though, country music seems to be the most popular.

Mustic was great in the 1970s and 60s. Then it got really bad and wussy like. Not really anything worth listening to in the last 30 years.

yes rock is still the best led zeppilin, 38 special, acdc, iron maiden, such greats as born to be wild , and joy to the world, and one tin soldier,iron man, or skynards curtis lowe, freebird, etc. classics they never go away this new hip hop . and etc , i dont remember hardly there yesterdays ****.

For a while rap was really popular, but now rock is regaining it's popularity.

from the 80's' yeah! i love 80s-hate rap-pop-ext. i know many others that like 80's' and 70's' too. im not the only one!

i think rock is more popular than it was but rap etc. is even more popular its a shame.
