get the wrong impression of you? And you can't seem to convince them that it's not who you are?

That has happened to me. You are aware of it, and you know you can't do anything about it. Sometimes it's a person you admire and want them to see the real you...that's the sad part for me.

Yeah, usually I mess up and say the wrong thing or it sounds like I did and people get the wrong first impression.

Sure, It doesn't happen often but it happens. I use it as an indication of their instincts with people. If they get me wrong and have a problem then they are the one with the problem. Usually people that base their lives on what they buy and are all on the surface are the ones that get me wrong. They think I'm rude but I'm just not interested in their stuff.

Not very often, in real life. But in my dreams, that happens every once in a while.

There have been times. Just seems I have ran into a few over the years that didn't take the time to get to know me before they judged me. Most the time I am able to joke and people get it.

Yes. I took a MP3 player with me on a work trip, and my coworkers thought it was filled with Celine Dion. It was in fact filled with Beastie Boys and Metallica!
Apparently, I come across as goody-goody because I try to be nice to people. Can you believe people don't like you because you're NICE?

Occasionally they do, and when that happens,
it really throws me off-center. I always have to ask
what caused that extraordinarily wrong impression.

lol, yea last yr i use to be so called "goth", but i changed the nxt yr. However, ppl still think im dark and stuff like that. but im a really nice person and i dont judge. I'm very open-minded. They just dont c that, they just c the "goth".
