My friend said that the only 2 major capitalistic countries are south korea and america, I'm interested as to if that's true.

It's mixed -- I'd say definitely capitalist but with significant socialist tendencies. But it does after all have one of the world's great stock exchanges, London is a great center of (private) finance, companies in UK can go public and acquire capital, and individuals can own property and start their own businesses -- so let's not go overboard here.

UK is more socialist, due to their concepts of their government taking care of so many social issues, the more capitalistic of a country has also proven for a more successful of an economy all around.
