The name of the movie was appropriately "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot". It was directed by Michael Cimino in 1974. Clint Eastwood plays John "Thunderbolt" Doherty and Jeff Bridges plays Lightfoot. I whole heartedly recommend any fan of Clint Eastwood watch this film.
