It sort of depends on how you define "famous" are you talking about celebrities and really famous people? Or just people who are little heard of. Are you basically asking for people who aren't like Martin Luther King Jr. or Harriet Tubman?

Some lesser heard of black people are:
Nat Turner
George Washington Carver
Harriet Beecher Stowe

If you'd like someone really obscure, Charles W. Chesnutt.

But they are all sort of famous, just perhaps not well known. It also depends on what grade you are in.

Since you used the word "unfamous" I am assuming you might be young, in which case people such as Langston Hughes or Frederick Douglass might also work.

Do I count? I'm black and un-famous. My entire family is, as well. Most of the black people I know on a personal level are un-famous.
