For pre-med courses which you will have to take before med school you will be focusing on a lot of the sciences. I would recomend taking as many different science classes as possible. Biology is the most important, and then I would say chemistry is too. Also if your school offers it, or maybe in you spare time ask to shadow a peditrician. If you can't do that you should maybe volunteer somewhere where you are working with with children. This will always help your social interactions with kids. Hope this helps. Also remember that to get into any college they want someone that is well rounded so try to keep up the gpa.

The highest levels of math that you can get into and science. Chemistry, Biology etc. If you can take some college level courses while in school that will help you. Mainly, go figure out which colleges you would like to attend and try to ask them what kinds of things they look for when they are accepting students. Many colleges want to see you involved in things outside of school like volunteer work.

Check into colleges you'd like to attend and see what their admission requirements are, this will give you a more finite idea of what classes to take.

Also, Science classes are very important. I had a friend who was pre-med. and told me that they also like students to take psychology classes so they can relate better to their patients. And child development would be cruicial if you are going into pediatrics. Another class that would be helpful in high school is health.

Find out if your school district has a Vo-Tech School or if the district sends students to another district for Vo-Tech. They often will offer a program in nursing, so that could get you started. Also, courses in Anatomy and Biology will be helpful, as well as your health class.
