Absolutely! I love Cedar Point! But they aren't open right now. You'll have to wait until after memorial day I think. Staying for the weekend is a great idea especially if you don't live close enough that you can go multiple times throughout the year. There is so much to do there and you can't do it all in just 1 day. Have fun!!

Cedar Point is definatly one of the best parks. I love roller coasters, and yes some of them have long waits, but they are worth it. Top Thrill Dragster is awesome, but they won't run it if there is even a drop of water on the tracks. This is another reason to go two days, in case of weather. Two day ride and slide tickets are about your best bet because you get to enter the regular park and the water park for two days. Even if you don't plan on going to the water park, I still recommend a weekend or couple days up there. There's so much to do and not enough time to do it for one day. Hotel Breakers is right next to it, part of the park and you get to enter Cedar Point I think an hour earlier than everyone else. But, it is kinda pricey. There are other, cheaper hotels very close by and many of them offer shuttles to and from the park. I highly recommed going to Cedar Point! It's great for all ages.

Heck yes it is worth it! If you like roller coasters that is. I go every year, and it is always great. The park is great and the Worlds Best for now 8 years in a row! Keys to going: go during like September, I literally got on and off Top Thrill Dragster 5 times in half an hour. The lines are super short and it does not rain a lot. Really hope you choose to go. You will have a blast!

Cedar Point is AWESOME! I live 1 hour away from there, and love going there every summer. We usually get a season pass since we live so close, but if you live far away, like another poster said, go for at least 2 days. They have a lot of GREAT rides, but sometimes the lines for those great rides can be over 2 hours long. :(
Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, Magnum... all great rides! They have a new one named "Maverick" coming out this year, and even though it's not a "record breaker", it could be interesting.
Have fun!

Yes, it is worth it. In fact, the only way to really enjoy it is to spend a weekend there. I love it because there are so many different things to do. Even if you're not into roller coasters and such, there's still a lot to do. My husband and I love to go to all the inside shows and theraters. They have something for everyone there. I've been going there quite often since i was a kid. They have something new every year, and a nice water park, too. We stayed at the hotel inside the park one year. I think it's still called Hotel Breakers. Really nice. There are motels outside the park, too. I don't think it's open until after memorial day, though. Plan to go, it's a lot of fun!

If you are a rollercoaster freak it worth all that and more!!! That park is amazing and the water park isn't half bad either!!!! In my opinion Cedar Point is the BEST theme park ever. I am sad I moved to the West Coast because I am no longer a couple hour drive away :(

Cedar Point is the best if you are a roller coaster fan. I will tell you that Top Fuel Dragster is normally broke down. If you are looking for a long weekend, try Put In Bay in Port Clinton also. They are about an hour away.

Hey, I just visited there last summer. It was great fun. Some really great rides are Top Thrill Dragster and Magnum. If you are a real thrill-seeker. You can't go now because it is not open. I hope you have fun!!!

A weekend is a good idea. I don't go there unless it's for at least 2 days. Otherwise, you probably won't get to ride all the coasters. Don't forget about the Soak City water park either. My kids loved it.

If you enjoy rollercoasters it is one of the best places in the world. But that's about all of it's appeal. Don't forget that they are closed for the winter as it's 8 degrees in direct sunlight right now.
