I know you can get twenty free minutes if you register your email address at the tracfone website to become a Tracfone insider.

For reduced price airtime cards, look on Ebay. Right now 60 minute cards with a 60 minute promo code ( total of 120 minutes) are selling for about eleven dollars.
Also, if you text alot, look into getting a Tracfone that takes reduced increments of airtime for this feature.
I have a Nokia 2600 and it has free incoming text messages and only charges .03 units for sending a text message.

You really got to go to www.peekamo.com and register for their free service. At peekamo, you can send free TXT messages to anyone in the USA and Canada from your desktop. You don't need to know their carrier or anything. Best part is that it is free, for you and the person receiving the TXT msg. Peekamo uses SMPP not SMTP. Yahoo, MSN and others uses SMTP! With Peekamo, you don't have to worry about spam either. You can create groups too. I'm from Canada where if you don't have a plan, TXT messages to the US can cost upto 15cents! Check it out - it really works and its really free. and no spam at all.

Why pay the telco's when you don't have to right!

no, but there are alot of cheaper options for you, and tracfone just uses other networks anyway, so you should find out who tracfone is an MVNO for in your area, and then just sign up with a prepaid plan directly through that company and you will likely get better rates.
