okay i know about the "hard on" thing. But on cheesy valentine's day t-shirts they say "heart on" is that like a pun or something...?

I've seen it too. I believe that it is intended to be a pun, playing on the phrase "hard-on".

Are you sure you're spelling it correctly? Because I've heard an expression that sounds similar, but not with the word "heart".
