I was reading John Murphy's 2007 NFL Mock Draft, and John, I'm sure you're proud for making the first publicized one this year, but it sucks.
I couldn't help but shake my head as i looked for Dwayne Jarrett and Paul Posluszny. They weren't there!! A Big Time reciever (literally) like Jarrett played too well throughout his career at USC, and had too big of when his team needed them against Notre Dame and Michigan deserved at least top 15.

And as for Posluszny, a steady, consistent linebacker being praised for everything, and he goes to Penn State. People at 'Linbacler U' don't praise their 'backers for nothing. Elaborate please

I think anytime someone wants to publish their own picks...
thats exactly what it is...
personal, preferential, and biased.
There is no requirement for consistency - why be like everyone else.
I think your dissention is poorly worded and limited.
"It sucks" is about as personal and biased as John Murphys ideas - making you no different than the author you are criticising.

I think if you want to make a powerful objection; you should start with the alternatives first...and your reasons why...let the reader determine who sucks and who doesn't.

I didnt read his mock draft but it sounds like he is an idiot. Dwayne Jarrett I think is either the second or 3rd best wide receiver in the draft. He definitley has the best hands in the draft, and despite his lack of speed compared to Ginn and Johnson, he is a great possession wide receiver (this is coming from a UCLA fan). As for Posluszny, I mean the guy I think is the greatest backer in the draft.

Don't get so worked up about it. He's just a talking head, and nearly all of them run their mouths quite a bit more than they think. The draft will go as the teams picking pick, not by anything one of the myriad "experts" says. People often get lost in the rankings of men like Mel Kiper and don't seem to realize every team assesses prospects differently and ultimately only time, not some abstract and arbitrary assessment of a player's"value", will define whether they were right or wrong...

with consistency you know exactly what you're getting. other teams can plan for it and you can expect not much more from them.
