c drive is fat and d drive is fat32 don't know what to do

use partion magic software to convert fat to fat32 without losing any datta

You would need a convert utility or you can move all the files from C to D and then format C to fat32 and then move them back. However, if C is your Windows drive, then you will not be able to do this in Windows.

If you are on XP, you could convert both drives to NTFS using a nifty tool built into XP called convert.... I plan to have a tutorial showing this process on my site below.

Windows 98 allows you to convert it to fat32 using a utility located under accessories.

Converting it from fat to ntfs can be done but not recommended because when it converts, it converts to full control on everyone permission to all files, which defeats the purpose of having ntfs in the first place.

What OS do you have? In windows 98 there is a tool for converting. If you have XP, consider converting to NTFS.

Partition Magic from Norton works great for these types of changes.
