Just to go into space No.

To actually go somewhere else... yes.

I HATE flying... HATE it with a passion. I hate heights, I hate flying, I don't like anything to do with that.

BUT...

two or three times in my life I have managed to get somewhere that I had worked very hard to get to. You go to school, you work hard, you train, and then one day, after years of effort, you are actually THERE, doing what you had dreamed of doing for so long.

It must be like that to land on another planet... the overwhelming feeling of "I'm HERE... I'M REALLY HERE! I'M REALLY HERE!!!"

To experience that, to be able to stand on Mars or Venus or the Moon or Mercury... FOR REAL.. to make the dream real. Yeah, I'd go in a heartbeat, even if I hated every moment of the trip.
