if your taxes are simplistic, any one of thoise mentioned can be used. however, if you have a great deal of write-offs, incomes, and use many different forms, it would be better to use an accountant or tax professional to do your taxes. they have ways to make you save money because of their familiarity with all tax situations, deductions, and which forms to use toi benefit you most. tax software, in most cases is good, but professional preparation is often the best course.

Taxact.com. It's free - though they do keep trying to upgrade. Just ignore it and continue. They walk you through step by step and calculate the tax as it goes.
Great program.
