that question is stupid you cannot compare them b.c colts fans say peyton and pats fans say brady

you know what i say, you cannot compare them until both their carrers re over, which will be a while. brady has more titles, but peyton just won the superbowl. SO WHAT! you cant compare titles with stats. you have to wait b.c as of right now, manning is the better of the two but who knows brady could come back next year then he will be "better"

im not saying titles are better than stats b.c peyton has better stats but brady has the titles so more people say brady b.c no one cares to look at stats.

stats and titles are just uncomparable as are peyton and brady

The Manning vs. Brady question is to football what the Chamberlain vs. Russell question is in basketball. Obviously, both are hall of famers. Manning will end up with all of the passing records if he stays healthy, and Brady may end up winning five or six superbowls. I think if Manning were a Patriot, he would have won the rings Brady did, in part because he wouldn't have had Belichick embarass him in the playoffs twice. I don't think if Brady was a Colt. the same would be true although if he had receivers like Wayne and Harrison who knows.

You're right you can't compare titles to stats. I guarantee Dan Marino would trade in every passing record for a Super Bowl ring. Now that Favre is coming back, he is going to break most of Marino's records. To me championships mean a lot more than stats. Therefore Brady is better because he is a winner of multiple titles. Manning may catch up, but until then, Brady is on top in my book.

Mannning will go down in history as the best quarterback in NFL history. He will break every passing record there is. Tom Brady will be one the greats at the position because of his titles, but he will never come close to the numbers that Manning will put up.

i do hate that comparison "who is better". i tend to compare them on how they QB. Tom tends to like to throw his outside in order to stretch the defense, Peyton likes to throw down the middle, and deep in order to destroy the defense. i like to make these kinds of comparison, but these QBs are so diffrent in the way they QB it is hard to say who is better, because they excel, but you CAN compare the two, in diffrent ways

i don't think that is is impossible to compare the two. it would be impossible to compare tom brady to Carson Palmer, because they are in way different stages of their careers, but Peyton and Tom are pretty much the same point in their careers (Brady 1 year younger than Manning)...their carrers are most likely going to end in 5-7 years from now, so pretty much you CAN compare them, but just you can't compare the "who is better". that is way too much opinionated. (btw im a niners fan, so i don't have biases for or against either of these guys)

I agree. I'm not a Colts fan or a Pats fan. I think they are both great QB's who will one day be in the Hall of Fame. Look these guys dont hate each other so I dont see why their fans should hate each other.

Manning is the better QB hands down.. Brady has just had a better defensive team all these years. It's all about the "team."
