How do you power off an ipod video???

I'm not sure how to power off my ipod or conserver the battery power.

Push the button on the bottom of the circle thing and hold it down then the screen should turn black.

hold down the play button for about 3-5 secs

You press the bottom part of the wheel with the >|| and hold it... then switch the top left switch (on the top) off.
