Probably Aziraphale and Crowley, an angel and a demon from "Good Omens."

(co-written with Neil Gaiman.)

All of the regular characters have their strengths - Carrott, Aquila, Vimes, the Wizards, the vegetarian vampire - but the one that always makes me laugh is 'I'm Cutting My Own Throat' Dibbler and his sausages and pies. He seems to be in the crucial place to act as informant for the Guard but is always ready to break into a run if a customer lives long enough to have a complaint!

I doubt if you could really do justice to any of the existing books in a 2-hour movie, but perhaps a specially-written tale might work..... or a TV series!
