Did you get the slight when Obama said that if Howard is all "GINNED" up about Iraq, he could always send more troops?
I wonder if he knows something about Howard's drinking habits?
HAHAHA Seems to me that Sen. Obama is no pushover.

Scarlett,
Regardless if whether Howard is right or not, He has no business getting involved in the internal politics of this country. I felt the same way when Chavez went to Harlem and blasted Bush. Did you?

I thought it was a percise and accurate response. Obama basically called Howard's bluff and told him to either put up or STFU. Obama earn a ton of respect from me. Fox snooze will eat this up, but the bottom line that Obama is right, so fox can eat crow.

yeah, as if the brits give a damn about iraq.

they have less than 5000 troops total in iraq at this point.

that guy has all of the credibility of bush or cheney on the iraq war.

just another wannabe tough guy, who tries just a little too hard to fake it.

obama will simply devour these guys - they have no idea what they are dealing with...

It is irrelevant, Howard is right.

Al Qaeda Sends a Message to Democrats
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
Brian Ross and Hoda Osman Report:
Al Qaeda has sent a message to leaders of the Democratic party that credit for the defeat of congressional Republicans belongs to the terrorists.
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
In a portion of the tape from al Qaeda No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri, made available only today, Zawahri says he has two messages for American Democrats.
"The first is that you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones
Zawahri calls on the Democrats to negotiate with him and Osama bin Laden, not others in the Islamic world who Zawahri says cannot help.
"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he said.

Howard could stop being such a sissy and have his 1400 troops actually perform combat roles instead of purely non-combat support roles.
