how much memory does the xbox 360 hardrive have???

It's a 20 GB Harddisk. However it is partitioned in 3 Partitions, of wich only one partition with about 17 GB is usable to store demos, arcade games, movies and other downloads on.
The other 3 GB are for system internal things like for example savegames, caching the Media Center software so it needn't to be downloaded every time from your Media Center PC every time you start the Xbox Media Center application.

20GB total but with all the stuff that Microsoft already put on it 12GB.
