as long as you don't cut him, cutting his hair is fine.

My ten month old has really long hair-I am considering cutting it. I would just be sure to have someone else there and make it really "fun" so they don't fear hair cuts later. I may take my boy to a cheapy place like Supercuts and pay a little bit for a professional cut.

My sis in law gave her son a buzz cut at about 5 months so his hair would come in more evenly. She said the sound of the clippers scared him a little, but they were able to do it all.

If your kid's hair is to its eye's and covering it then yes it needs a hair cut. If you think its long and needs a little cut try it and see how your baby does.

When my son was 5 months old he looked like a girl so I took him for a haircut. He was fine, sat on my lap and smiled at everyone. No harm done.

If his hair is in his eyes then you can cut it. But if his hair isn't just let it grow. If you do cut it, you will need someone to hold down his hand and hold his head still.

The noise of the clippers might scare the baby, but it is not bad for the hair.If somebody can help you use scissors.

Too young for clippers, just use scissors to trim bangs, around ears and back if you have to.
