No Way... Marty is getting back into shape. Last year was a sophomore woes year. This year he's getting back into a form. Look at Patrick Roy. Stink up the ice for 2 or 3 years and people would say, "He's through." Yea, right...
Na, Marty is a great goalie. He can get back to form if the "body" doesn't reject his movement. I bet he does another surgery....
Gagne is a good player also.
I think this will be Modano's last year if he has the money to retire. He lost major money from a bad person watching his money.. Lost about 50 million? He's playing for retirement, just look at his play on the ice. He's lost some of that, "I want to be here" attitude........
No way.. Keep Marty... Get this team to gel. I like the looks of it as is.

It would no be worth it for the Flyers, because Turco has been sucking as of late. Also because Gagne is more valuable that Turco. Another reason is that if the Flyers are going to make a trade this season it would not be for an older player like Turco, because they just want young players with a lot of potential

That trade will never happen. Simon Gagne is the only good player on the Flyers and he is too valuable to them. Dallas already obtained Ladislav Nagy from Phoenix and Mike Smith isn't that great, so they need the stability that Turco brings on and off the ice.

Gagne has shown to be very fragile so that would be a big mistake, Gagne yes can score but needs that player with him. Turco needs a team to score for him the Stars need to build up front they are a little old and Turco will have a hard time this year in the playoffs as last year.

Nope. I haven't seen Mike Smith play, but Turco's got playoff experience. Maybe trade Smith, a Stars player with potential, for Gagne and a 4th and below draft pick.

Gagne for Turco would be a mistake for both teams. I would rather see the Flyers get rid of all the slow plodding skaters before they trade the one guy on the team that has speed.

No way it would ever happen... Plus Turco is an allstar goaltender even though he is struggling recently... You have twenty skaters on the ice each night but only one goaltender... Goaltending is the backbone of an elite team and trading away one of the best in the game for an elite scorer isn't worth it. The Stars have gone through numerous injuries of late and once everybody is back they will be in the mix come playoff time like they always are.

Stars may need a scorer but Mike Smith is not a good enough goalie to get them through the playoffs. Turco is a better goalie than Smith and HE can't get through the playoffs!

The Flyers goaltending hasn't been that bad considering what's in front of them and with the addition of Leighton, I think they have more than enough good goaltending prospectives
They need to get the Phantoms off the roster and get more NHL caliber players (like Gagne & Forsberg)
The Flyers need a LOT,
but I don't think goaltending is a primary concern

Both very good.. but Dallas is doing great with Turco and Mike Smith.. it's pretty much the same Miller and Biron.. but no doubt Simon Gagne doesn't deserve to be on Philly. He is way too good to be there, deserves to be on the..... SABRES! WOOT! TRADE TRADE TRADE! lol. Won't happen, but I wish..
