yes! i thank my dad everyday...maybe not verbally, but the care i give him as his caretaker due to his service in vietnam leaving him 100% disabled...or more than that, i fight for them in every way i can, i'm a member of the disabled american veterans auxilliary, i volunteer and the va, i "lobby" politicians, and i help to educate veterans on benifits they may be eligible for and show them who to talk to so that they get what they deserve....

I sure thought of them after reading about the young mother who gave birth to her 4trh child...2 weeks after her husband was killed in Iraq. Life goes on and we are safe because of our vets. so forgotten, it is sad
