Are there any actual criminal cases involving snuff films?

Any where someone is accused of making one, that actually made it to trial?

Cecil Adams addressed this topic once, I think. Go to "Straightdope.com", and search their archives. If I remember rightly, there has never been a definite case of this found, though.

I'm not sure.

I know the FBI was investigating some snuff films in IL. they had a few people on a watch list.
