I had the same problem..

Except that I was even skinnier the second time I got pregnant..so the weight just stuck to me.

Also, generally women "show" sooner with second babies.

Being pregnant always bothered me too--the getting bigger part--

Do some exercise that is safe while you are pregnant. It will help you to feel good about yourself, and just because your belly is big doesn't mean you have to be big all over. I always felt better when I wore clothes that didn't "float" on me, and instead just wore regular shirts that were longer.

Don't worry about "looking heavy" though. Most people love the look of a pregnant woman.

the "going crazy" feeling is your hormones, trust me. It is not necessary to gain weight in your first 12 weeks. If you think you are gaining weight too quickly, cut out sweets, junk food and snacks. You don't need to eat differently in your first trimester if you normally eat a balanced diet. If you do not eat well normally, then you need to make sure you drink milk and eat healthy foods but you do not need to eat more food in your first 12 weeks. The baby is the size of a kidney bean, it doen't take much extra food to feed it.

If you are already eating a healthy diet and avoiding junk food and you are still gaining weight, don't worry about it. Some people just gain alot of weight when they are pregnant. My doctor told me that small women often gain weight in their first trimester. I am relatively small and I gained over 60 pounds with both babies. You lost it the first time, you will loose it again. I lost it all the first time and I only have 10 pounds left to loose after baby number 2.

What is most important is that you and your baby are healthy. Focus on that and not your weight. If you are gaining too quickly your doctor will tell you. And just remember your body is going through many changes right now. Perhaps you need the extra weight to help support and nourish you and the baby. In any case, 10 pounds is not a lot. So, relax and be keep your mind and body healthy and happy.

My advise is really look at what your eating. So often we put something in our mouth or stop off at fast food becasue we are in a hurry. Look at your sodium and sugar intake also. Even if you are carring twins such a rapid weight gain can cause serious problems further along in pregnacy, like gestatinal diabetes! I have heard though that you always gain faster with any child after your first and with that it does become harder each time to lose.

You could be retaining water because of your pregnancy. Make sure you are drinking enough water and not to much sodium. My second guess is that you could be eating more food than you think, or rather more of the bad foods, so watch that. Don't go on a diet though (lol, get a skinny baby then). And you can loose it again right?Good Luck!

thats happened to me when i was pregnant, thought i was having twins! i was worried that when people looked at me they just thought i was fat, and not pregnant. because im very small too, its just very hard seeing yourself get bigger but i gained about 10 lbs by the time i was two months. its normal, if it wasnat your doctor would say something, just make sure you are eating healthy things too and not just junk because that will make you gain sloppy weight.

you in basic terms would desire to get used to the concept as quickly as you have a 2nd (or 0.33, fourth, etc.) which you get larger swifter. I purely had my 2nd baby in November and have been given quite extensive (which i became no longer with my first). besides the indisputable fact that, he's purely over 2 months previous and that i've got already lost extremely some the burden. you prefer to no longer obsess approximately being skinny anymore. Your toddler needs appropriate care and nutrition and the toddler comes first. purely gown lovable and don't difficulty approximately it. you have something of your existence to shed pounds, yet in basic terms 9 months of being pregnant.

The best thing to do is not to eat 3 times a day but to eat 5 small portions a day.It keeps constant nutrition for the you and the baby and your body will store less fat that way.WALK
