I have a small wooden pencil/pen holder, which has a plaque on it that reads:
"From the teak of H.M.S. TERRIBLE whose guns relieved Ladysmith." That is to say, the teak wood was taken from the ship, and the guns were taken from the ship and were used as artillery to help lift the siege of the British forces that were suurounded by Boer forces in Ladysmith, South Africa during the Anglo-Boer War (1899 - 1902). My guess is that it was made in England.
