Ahhh - been there. We've developed a signal system - subtle, but he gets the hint and brings thr convo to an end.

I used to just leave the room and go into the bedroom - people used to get that hint, but some are too dense to.

if the company is that dense,that they don't know they have overstayed the visit I would simply tell them we are getting ready for bed or have other plans..Hubby and you could have a code between you in future,hopefully that will work...I don't playaround any more,just let them know.....usually folks will comply and be appologetic.....

what is GTFO?? oh is it get the eff out?? i'd say, well, time for me to go to bed, go to the store, etc they will hopefully get the hint
