Not if the person truely and wholeheartedly wants to go. Srry, that's just my opinion. I'm sure a lot of people will/do disagree.

In my point of view assisted suicide is wrong. I know from experience how hard it is to watch someone you love suffer and deteriorate. My Grandfather was ill for over 20 years before he eventually died. But I think that this life is for us to learn to become good and strong, and part of that is taking whatever comes to us and being the best person we can be. I never heard my Grandpa complain. He was in constant pain in the last few years of his life, yet he still lived and had enjoyment out of life. He still had times when he would tease and joke and I cherish those memories. If he had chosen assisted suicide when he first fell ill I would never have even known him.

Euthanasia should be the choice of every human being. The right to choose assisted suicide, because quality of life no longer exists, in my opinion, should be legalized. For a person to suffer, beyond what is bearable, to linger without hope and wither away and die without dignity, should be a personal issue. If a person can find peace with the choice they make, without reservation, then their wish should be upheld.

No, it's assisted suicide.
If a person has outlived their enjoyment or quality of life, why not let them make the decision to end that life?
To whom does that life belong?
Look into Indigenous People's death practices; they have been on this track for millenia. Indigenous tribes' live are usually more holistic than what we experience here in the US.
Is it better to die willfully or live in an Old Persons' Warehouse?
