I am NOT waxing. Shaving isn't going all that well... lots of ingrown hairs and bumps. Hey do you know a way to get rid of those? What about those delporitry lotions or whatever they are called. Do those work any good? They disolve the hair or something. Are they safe?

The lotions (such as Nair) work on hair that is fine and not incredibly plentiful. I have found that it works well for the bikini area. However, if you are looking to get rid of it all, these lotions are not for you. They go deep into the pore and remove the hair. If you have sensitive skin, it can irritate, burn, and itch for a day or two after. While waxing can seem scary and akward, in my expierence it is much better and lasts much longer. I went to a reputable salon and had a good expierence.

I'm not sure if you are male or female. If you are male, I advise you not to shave. You should buy an electric trimmer. If you are female and you want to be smooth, you should buy an electric shaver with a foil screen. I recommend the Seiko Cleancut Shaver because it's the best there is. Get some Bikini Zone cream to put on those red bumps. They probably do itch. Get some hydrocortisone cream to make them stop itching. You may have ingrown hairs. There's nothing you can do but remove them with tweezers. Shaving with a razor and shaving cream is the worst method you can use to remove the hair. Get the Seiko Cleancut Shaver and trim the hair with an electric trimmer before you shave.

Try lubricating your skin with vitamin E oil before shaving and treat afterward with Witch Hazel.
