What is the difference between a front-end Java Developer and a backend Java Developer?

Are there any technologies that one would use that the other wouldn't?

Front-end is the people that make the program nice to the user. This can be graphical or for getting data. Back-end is programs/code that don't need the user usually running in the background. Java is just the language that they are programming in.
