are you talkin about the 4th?
if so i think it should be about the lesser of the charecters the ones introduced in 3 that the audience think will play a big roll in the movie
like the guy with the wings etc.

any number of things. the xmen universe takes place in many many demensions with thousands of characters time-line alterations etc. they could make a thousand movies and more with story line left over.

of course its going to pick up were it left off, and as far as the third one it wasnt that bad. they definetely need to put more collosus, archangel(if they decide to go with the apocalypse saga) but they could just as easily go with a genosha story line, and probably introduce gambit.

they would probably make it about magneto getting his powers back and prof. x coming back to life. since thats where the last movie left off
