the size is 7 1/4 it looks a little big, but i wear 7 1/8 as well. it kind of looks funny on me since it's new,, any tips or suggestions on how to make it look normal and round?? maybe just break it in and keep wearing it until it fitsm y head shape? thank you for your time

My brother gets hats from Lids all the time. He makes them look normal by squeezing the bill of it until it is rounded, and he sleeps/naps with it on, but maybe he is just a nut. Anyways, good luck with your hat.

KB8, if you're having a 59/50 New Era there, please don't bend the brim. It's suppose to be flat, and with the gold foil sticker on. You can peel off the gold foil sticker and stick it on the bottom side of brim if you want, but don't dispose it. I feel that there's nothing wrong with wearing a larger size fitted hat; some people actually prefer larger sizes, so that they can wear it any direction they want. If you still want the 7 1/4 cap to be fitter, what you can do is to take a spray bottle of water and spray the headband with the water, then let dry in the sun on top of an empty coffee can. Or, just let it dry without being elevated by the can. You can also dry it with a good portable hair dryer. Although washing it can shrink the cap, but I do not recommend you to do so because you will ruin its shape.

u could wear it and it might break in or u might want to return it and get a smaller size
