There are many models in their 30s still modelling. I think this is a better age to be modelling than the fetuses that are strolling down the catwalk these days

Some, but it is a youth oriented business. Young skin is easier to makeup, bodies haven't settled etc....It isn't a kind business by any means. Most girls start at about 14-15, and have packed it in by their late 20's. Some start late in life, but it wouldn't be for high profile things, maybe print work aimed at older women/career wear etc... Many of the older models working now worked in their youth and have a history, which helped them to get "older model" work. Older models are a niche market, like heavier models.

yeaa. on the show "real housewives of orange county" on bravo, these two moms on the show were at least 40 and they were sending in pictures to playboy. if you have the face and the body to model when you are 30 you can. just most women after having kids and aging, dont have the look any more.

For catwalk, yes, but for print and commercial modelling, definitely not. Just sign up with an agency, who can advise you and point you in the right direction.

The model industry does. But the model industry is filled with camp twats and morons.
You shine from inside and you should do OK.
