Is it better to chose a Best Answer, or just let it go into Voting? Why? What do you do?

Most of the time I choose a best answer, though I did let one go to vote, because there were too many good answers. besides, you get 3 points for choosing a best answer.

If you chose a best answer you get 3 points. If it goes to voting and you get "no best answer" you get 5 points but that seldom happens. So I always pick a best answer and get the three easy points.

If you found a best answer for your question then just choose it as best answer. If you can't decide or you couldn't find any good answer then let it be on the voting.

Yes, choosing best answer you get 3 pts. Plus I feel if I ask a question the least i can do is read them and pick a best answer.
Which I enjoy doing anyway.

Sometimes when I choose a best answer and I am torn - I look to see how many best answers have already been done by the person. I tend to pick the one with the fewest and bolster them up a little.

I always wait until Yahoo reminds me to renew my question. Then I take the time to go through every answer and compare myself. Most times, I can pick one. If I can't, I'll surrender the three points and let the world decided.

Sometimes when i can't decide i would let it under go some voting. So its a 50/50 shot.
