The number 7 keeps appearing in my life in one form or another. I am certain there is some meaning to this. Now that I'm aware of it, what can I do to utilize the information in my life? And why do numbers have significance in our lives?

It all comes from the decimal system...
If we used 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 20, 21, etc., instead, would you be asking this?
I think not.
So, instead of paying too much attention to the numbers (the medium), why don' t you just use them like everyone else does?
They have something to say, but it's quite simple: 7 = 0 +7 = 1+6 = .........
And the chances are you are only watching out for a 7 to come up! You must have ignored thousands of 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 8s, and 9s!

Just to give you a perspective on numbers, if you read Genesis, chapter one, there are tons of references to numbers: the number of the days God used to create the world, the number of man, the number of the trinity etc. Then fast forward to the book of revelations, read about the 7 churches, the 7 candlesticks, the 7 this, the 7 that.......numbers, numbers, numbers! People who tell you numbers have no significance whatsoever except to balance your checkbook are probably unbalanced themselves.

It means nothing. My ID card starts with 501, my favorote jeans Levi's 501. I am license starts with 501. The house which I lived in my childhood was 501 on the street. Even my school ids were always 501. A highway passes by my dad's house which is incidentally is 501. Coincidence. Pure.

hate to break it to you, but the seemingly meaningful recurrance of 7 is nothing more than a trick your mind is playing on you. humans have a tendency to see patterns/significance when there is none, even in randomly generated numbers or events.
the only significant number in a person's life is one that we nearly never know...how many days/weeks/years we are going to live!
