While watching Google video,I attempted to rate a video and when I clicked on the 5th star to rate...it flashed up in red letters....must enable cookies to use this feature. I have always been able to rate vids on Google and have not changed anything. How do I enable cookies and why did this change without my knowledge? No one else uses my computer and I have anti-virus,firewall protection, spybot etc. Thank you.

To enable cookies, on your browser select tools/ Internet options/Privacy tab/ there is a slide bar that you can use for different settings I like the advanced option click on advanced place a check in override automatic cookie handling. place dot in accept first party cookies and block third party cookies and a check in always allow session cookies. Hope this helps you.

Right click on Internet Explorer on your desktop. On the Privacy tab, select medium-high security. That will allow cookies, but not sell the farm. This usually only changes with new browser installs. Or if you allowed an active-x control to run. Not a good sign.

This maybe because of spyware. To enable cookies go to tools> Internet Options>Privacey> Click on Default

If this doesn't work slide the bar down to low or turn one of your spyware sofware or anitvirus software
