I think it's because some acts are lip-syncing and other are live, so the soundman has to switch back and forth. The live acts have the worse sound.

Nothing wrong with our sound and we wished there was. It stinks! We turned it off after an hour.

IT HAS TO BE YOUR PROVIDER.. I HAVE THE DISH(WHICH DISH SUCKS) AND I CAN HEAR IT FINE.
