This guy hasn't proven himself with the Celtics or the Magic, his team is on a franchise record losing streak, every time coaches a team they end up getting the first overall pick.(assuming the Celts get it this year, which they probably will) Why hasn't this guy been fired yet.

The Celtics need to blow up everything, including their front office, and start over again.

Rivers needs to go asap. The knock on him is that he is often unorganized especially when running plays after time outs. I don't care how much his players like him. If the players are confused and lost once they step onto the court then Rivers is not doing his job as a coach.

I would give Ainge the rest of this season and next season at most to turn things around. He tried to get Iverson and failed. it was said that the Celtics did well in the draft but doing well in the draft means you won't end up with the first pick in next year's draft even because you have the worse record.

Bigger picture wise I think Bird, Aingle, and McHale should pool their resources together and buy a team. They can then have fun running that team into the ground such as by hiring M.L. Carr to coach it.

His two top scorers, Pierce and Szczerbiak, have been injured for the vast majority of the season. He is having to build up young players like West, Gomes, and Jefferson into solid veterans, and so far has done a great job of it.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to be fired, but just wait till he has a healthy, full team, then judge the guy.

definitely no longer. Why would he? they're nonetheless a solid rigidity interior the jap convention and the League. Danny Ainge isn't that loopy to fireside a coach that basically gained the NBA call. If he did no longer fire him while Boston replace into interior the backside tier of the league (2-3 years in the past) he would desire to no longer fire him now.

I do. The guy is a joke. Anyone in their right mind can see Doc can't coach worth of anything. He never settles on a rotation, he gives minutes to players who are having horrible nights or aren't completely 100% (Wally World anyone?), and he doesn't give minutes to players who need them to develop their game (Gerald Green anyone?) Rivers is so bad, he can actually make the college basketball team Iona Gaels who are 1-23 WORSE than they already are!

Because Danny Ainge is a frigging idiot. The entire front office should be canned. I haven't seen this much stupidity since Pitino traded away Chauncey Billups and Tracy McGrady.

Fire Ainge not Doc. Ainge is destroying this team. He'll probably trade their only good player Pierce and leave the team with zero talent.

I agree he should be fired. Idk why the GMs think he's so good he sucks. I'm a magic fan and I cheered when they fired his sorry butt. He's way overrated and drives all teams he coaches to failure.
