you can either have something like a 4 port USB PCI card attached into your computer or you can use a USB Hub that may have say 4 USB ports on it then it plugs into one of the USB ports on your system..they usually arent that expensive...$40AU..but usually require power

You can buy a USB Hub, which is basically a device that you can plug into one of your USB ports and it will give you additional USB ports, or you can buy an USB PCI expansion card and install that into your computer.

A USB Hub, but there many kinds to choose from. I find it best to get a powered HUB because it reduces the strain off the computer from having to power any attached devices.

Couple of things you can do, add another PCI card to your machine or add a USB hub. The hubs work well, make sure you get one with its own power supply.
