I like to pace myself. I find the muffin usually prefers a nice steady pace.
Not too fast, not too slow.Leading to greater pleasure for the muffin which is always a good idea if your looking for the favour to be returned.

It should be eaten with a cake fork,
with dainty little fingers.
Making sure to chew it slowly so the
taste surely lingers.
Never stuff it in your mouth,
like a hungry big baboon.
But in tiny fork like pieces to make
it last till June.

Eat the bottom fast, then savour the top. That's the best part!

Slowly for maximum pleasure... unless there are others who might want some too. Then I either gobble it up quickly or lick all over it to make sure it stays MINE! ;)

Slowly, if possible. However, they are very more-ish (meaning you can't put them aside for too long), & you will have to go back to it after a minute or two. I think the last posting has the right idea.

Depends on the muffin. if it's a clean moist muffin, I'd linger a bit, however, if the muffin is stale and tainted, then I'd want to eat it as quickly as possible, assuming I had to eat it at all. Stop eating doughnuts.
