i have answered this question so many times already. I am dead against abortion. There are only so many excuses for getting them, and getting pregnant young is not one of them. Now if that pregnancy was caused by her abusive father or something, then yes, it is UNDERSTANDABLE, not neccesarily ACCEPTIBLE. Or even if the girl is raped it is again UNDERSTANDABLE, not neccesarily ACCEPTIBLE. There are too many other options like adoption, or even keeping the kid. My grandmother (may she rest in peace) was raped, and i couldnt be happier that she didn't decide to have an abortion because then i wouldn't be here! The only real reason that i could see for a person having an abortion is if there was some medical (proven by a medical doctor) that could endanger the life of the woman or her unborn child. and less than 6% of abortions are for that reason.

Personally i am against abortion...But it may be right for some people in some circumstances... I was pregnant with my first child at 16... I fell that if the teen parent feels that they can not provide for the child, and thinks someone else can do better they should carry full term and go for adoption... Just think about what they are doing...killing a life they may have accidently created yes but a life none the less... The baby is an innocent being and had no play in what its parents had done... don't punish a child for your mistakes...anyhow thats my take on the situation

In the situation you cited, absolutely the girl should get an abortion.
At 16, a person is too young to care for a child properly, and having a baby at that age would only serve to ruin both the life of the girl and the baby. Statistically, girls that have kids at that age rarely make it above the poverty line, don't go to college, and the children are more likely to become criiminals and teenage parents themselves.
If I had a 16 year old daughter who got pregnant, I would do whatever I could to convince her to have the abortion. I would also have taken steps to prevent it in the first place, because she would already have been on birth control, and instructed in the use of condoms.

I am totally against abortion. There is the option of adoption for someone so young. That child that the 16 year old is carrying is living. So no I do not believe abortion is right for any reason.

i am totaly against abortion, no matter how old... but if they needed to for some medical reason well then thats ok i guess. there are many other things that you can do other then abortion

i feel it is the decision of the woman. the adoption process isn't as easy as every thinks it is in the U.S.A.. it is actually easier to go over seas and adopt than it is here.
