i'm pretty sure you can although i wouldn't recommend it because you might pierce the wrong spot on your ear. You can do it at home though, it hurts and the pain lasts longer because it's alot harder to get the needle in. Put an apple behind your lobe so as not to pierce your face. It shouldn't bleed anymore than getting it pierced at a store. Whatch out for infection. See The Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan.

Yes you can if you have a strong stomach . You must be careful what you use to not cause an infection or worse.
Cleanse the area with alchohol etc. You must cleanse a safe metal needle with alchol too.Don't use any yukky metals ,Use stainless steel..like a sewing needle. It must be fairly big.(I tried a hypo once and it was too small a hole for the post to go in.)
Your ear isnt that sensitive. Use an ear ring with stainless steel also. Not something that turns black etc...or use gold.Clean the earring with alchohol. After you pierce it ..clean it every day with alcohol.Saturating it good.Leave post in till heals;twist it around each day to not stick. If it gets puss you can usually gently squeese it out and clean out....with alcohol or peroxide. If you take the posts out ..you can loose where the hole goes and not get it back in right. Why you leave it in to heal.

Do you have a safe friend that won't poke your eye out ? Watch out for your eyes too.Wash your hands too.

You can do it with a needle but it is very painful. If you choose to do it make sure you use ice to freeze the ear and numb the pain, although it is best to have someone do it for you. The malls are cheap and they use a piercing gun that has barely any pain. I pierced my own ears, but I bought gold piercers to do it. Took me 3 days.

I did. You can also get self piercing earrings. It'll hurt worse than if you paid to have it done because self piercing earrings take time and seem to draw the pain out. If you have it done professionally, as long as you keep the ear clean and remember to buy good earrings, not the cheap ones, it won't hurt as bad.

OK. I am not a professional or anything, but I heard from ALOT of ppl that it is worse if u do it at home. In most places, like Claire's, they pierce ur ear for free if u buy earrings, and even if you do it at home, u need earrings, so I dont see the point of piercing at home. it's alot safer, and u have a less chance of getting them infected.

dont use ice cuz it stiffens the skin and itll be harder to do but i perced my ears myself so its safe problem is after taking the neddle out (leave it in for a bit and twist it evry now and then) one time i couldnt get the erring in so get one of those earring with the sharp tip and leave the ering in until it stops hurting or for like a week and clean it w/ peroxide you dont bleed much

it depends where on ear your ear you plan to pierce.
yes, it can be done.
but its not encouraged.
things can go wrong, your not a professional so you dont know what your doing.
it could get infected, blah blah.

mm, okay.
i know people who have done it themselves.
my friend is crazy about self piercings.
but it depends on how YOU cope with pain?
she just got an earing and stuck it in. so if your willing to do that, go ahead.

you might want to learn how to spell PiERCE before you even PiERCE your own ear. i pierced my upper ear by myself with a needle, it didn`t hurt because i numbed it, but i got lucky, and didn`t end up with infections. my friend pierced a crapload of places on her body that ended up infected, so i really don`t recommend it, go to a professional piercing shop, they know what they`re doing.
