the best in history? that is pretty strong...the best written and the best premise absolutely!!! The whole idea of the movie is heartwarming. Love endures all. A parents love for a child...untouchable. My family and I love the movie we have it on VHS...we take it out and watch it every 6 months or so. It is most definitly very high on our list of favorites.

Yes, I'd agree. The honesty of the message and of the emotions of the movie are paralelled by few other films. Roberto Benigni would appear to be a man who knows what life is and why it's worth living.

I'd say it's one of the best. It's funny. It's sad. Beautiful film. I cry every time I watch it.
