this morning I was visiting our local zoo when I stuck my hand into the snake cage. the sign said do not touch but There was a little mouse in the cage I wanted to pet. all of a sudden the humongous snake chomped on my hand. It feels all tingly and is purple and blue but It did stop bleeding about an hour ago. no doctors are open today so anyone got any home remedies?

get your butt into emergency if you don't know if the snake was venomous or not. i can't believe you waited this long, especially if there's heat and swelling. a bush tactic i used was to cut an incision "X" over the bite, suck a huge mouthful out of the cut, spit out, and apply pressure above the bite to slow toxins from spreading - but like i said - this was only in an emergency out in the bush and being alone. then getting to the nearest medic possible.

could no longer have been a venomous snake. attempt retaining the puncture wounds underwater in heat salt water. form of previous due, even yet it nevertheless could draw particularly some the micro organism out. in any different case, keep the wound clean. take care of it with antiseptic and an antibiotic cream in case you have it, and watch it heavily. If the swelling maintains to bypass down and the cat maintains to consume and potty frequently, then that's all you like do. If the swelling gets worse he could have an infection that has abcessed and could could desire to be appeared at by using a vet. good success.

You're full of crap. The local zoo would not have a cage you can stick your hand in, and besides...... they probably would have used you to feed the lions......not torture the snakes!
