I am assuming you want to be a physician. You have to have a bachelor's degree. Most medical schools don't really care what your degree is in as long as you have certain classes. Those requirements are usually met by a premed, biology, chemistry or similar degree. Look into the requirements of the medical schools you are considering. Admission to med school is competitive so be prepared to work hard during your undergrad years.

Doctors don't need a masters degree necessarily. Being a doctor means you hold a doctorate in something.

Now, this could be a PhD in, say, history. You'd be called "doctor."

Or, most people think of "doctors" as the medical physician you see when you get sick. If you mean this kind of doctor, you don't need a masters at all. You want to go to med school. To do that, you first need to finish undergrad and get a bachelors degree. Med schools don't care what degree you get as long as you fulfill their required courses. Look up each med school to see what their required courses are. Most are the same, but a school might have a class or two that's different from another. That's why you need to check each school you want to apply to.

PHD is required for this not Masters Degree. I don't know what kind of doctor you are planning on being but you need to focus on science and math if the medical profession is the one that you are seeking.

Well, ya see.......in order to be a doctor (do you mean physician, or doctor of some other kind, i.e. educator, professor, philosopher).....you need a doctorate degree. And I certainly wouldn't sweat the masters until after you've earned your bachelor's.
