what kind of router do you have ?

WPA security will only work if everything connecting is Win XP.

Try putting your security down to WEP 128 and see if that will come up as "secure" for you. If it does, then if you want to change your settings up to WPA. The router may be simply not broadcasting the security.

By going into your router and configuring the setting like SSID and Password. To get into your wireless router I mean , to get to the control settings via the internet browser.

Did you set the encryption key? Have you consulted the manual?
