the book was a fave of mine in grade school

sucky. i haven't watched it yet, but from the trailers, its crap. everything is all futuristic and i don't remember the stuff that happened in the movie happen in the book. i wonder if leslie character in the movie will die. i doubt that they'll kill her since she's like the hero in the movie and kids will be watching this movie, who i bet you, didn't even read the book. they ruined a perfectly good book.

Both the book and the original movie were quite beautiful, but this new movie seems a bit too weird for my taste. After watching the previews I am certain I do "not" want to see this particular film.

it looks totally different from the book, and not in a good way either. I'm predicting that it will be horrible for those who read the book and have expectations, but for people just looking for a scifi-fantasy kid-flick, it would be okay.

ive read the book and it is good. the movie dosen't look like the book. i dont really like fanisty movies but i dose look pretty good 2 me
